What is Ben Hermans Bike size 2020 ?

Do you want to know what is Ben Hermans Bike size 2020 ?

The friendly Belgian professional cyclist is racing the 2020 season with the Team Israel Start-Up Nation. (Renamed Team Israel-Premier Tech on January 2022)
Ben Hermans is racing mostly on the FACTOR O2 VAM Disc which is the Lightweight climbing bike model from FACTOR.

Ben had a tremendous year 2019 and have won several multi stages races including the Tour of Austria and the Tour of UTAH.
As I look at Ben’s racing result it seems like he is getting more performant over the years.

Ben Hermans is not a “pure climber” as he weight 72kg at peak form for 1m86 tall however he is definitely a climber hence the reason for him to race on the FACTOR climbing model.

A BIG THANKS to Ben for being very cooperative and giving me hints on his bike size, this is helping me a lot as I couldn’t find a lot of pictures of him on his bike this year to do some reverse engineering.
Thank you Ben! Follow him on Twitter @hermansben and Instagram

Ben Hermans 2020 Factor O2 VAM Size 56cm

The Team Israel Start-Up Nation races on two main models in 2020, the FACTOR O2 VAM for the climbers and the FACTOR ONE for the powerful sprinters like Andre Greipel.

Ben Hermans is 1m86 tall and he is racing on a size 56cm FACTOR O2 VAM Disc 2020.

FACTOR does “suggest” the FACTOR O2 VAM size 56cm to riders from 1m75 to 1m80.

Ben is therefore using 1 size down compared than the manufacturer suggestion and that is well within the trend among pro riders.

The Factor O2 VAM frame is made of TeXtreme Toray Carbon with a mix of Boron on the seat tube to optimize lightweight and strength.
The O2 VAM represents FACTOR’s lightest frame designed for climbers.

Ben is racing with the BLACK INC 130mm stem / 420mm width Bar combo.
He uses 172.5mm Shimano Dura Ace crank length wit 54/42 chainrings for most races profiles.

Ben races with a Selle Italia saddle Pro Team Carbon rails model which is set at 795mm hight.
The distance between the tip of the saddle to the handlebar grip is 595mm.
