Decathlon CMA CGM 2026 Team Guide: The New “Super Team,” The SRAM Switch & The French “Chosen One”

Forget what you knew about “AG2R.” That name is gone after 33 years.

Welcome to the era of Decathlon CMA CGM.

For the 2026 season, the French squad has undergone a total revolution. With Decathlon now stepping up as the Team Owner (not just a sponsor) and the arrival of logistics giant CMA CGM, the budget has skyrocketed. The goal is no longer just “winning a stage”. Management has explicitly targeted a Top 5 WorldTour Ranking.

Based historically in Chambéry (the heart of the Alps) but spiritually connected to Lille, the home of Decathlon and Van Rysel, the team is attacking on all fronts: Paris-Roubaix, The Classics, the Green Jersey, and the General Classification.

This guide breaks down the massive tech switch to SRAM, the signing of Olav Kooij, and why the young French sensation Paul Seixas is the rider everyone is watching.

    Mathieu Van Der Poel’s Paris-Roubaix 2023

Today I am writing about Mathieu Van Der Poel’s Paris-Roubaix 2023 win and how I see the legendary cyclist did win the Queen of the Classics.

On the menu of the 2023 Paris-Roubaix is 256.6 kilometers, including a total of 54.5km of cobblestones.

    Paris-Roubaix 2022 Teams and Bikes

This is my mini guide to Paris-Roubaix 2022 Teams and Bikes.

But first, allow me to introduce briefly the “Hell of the North” just in case you need it.

Paris-Roubaix is on April 17th, 2022. The 257.5km race starts from Compiegne and finishes on the Velodrome of Roubaix (France).

The “Hell of the North” as it is lovely nicknamed, is one of the five monuments, and it is one of the most brutal one-day races with its paves section.

  • Jelle Wallays De Rosa Bike Size

Jelle Wallays De Rosa Bike Size

Today I am writing about Jelle Wallays De Rosa Bike size.
Jelle has been very kind to let me know his bike setup. I am so grateful for this privilege and cannot thank Jelle enough for his disponibility.

The Belgian professional cyclist is racing with the French Team Cofidis since 2021.

Jelle Wallays lives in the western Flanders area, which explains why he can be considered a Flandrian rider. A tough rider used to race in the cold wind and rainy weather.
Jelle is a stage-winning hunter, not a General classification type of rider. He has fast sprinting top speed ability and is strong enough to win solo.

Wallays usually races most of the Frandrian classics with an incursion to the Paris-Roubaix. Then his second part of the season is the Vuelta a Espana.
