A quick Intro of Bora – hansgrohe

Bora-Hansgrohe is a professional cycling team that competes in road bicycle racing events around the world, including the UCI World Tour, the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia, and La Vuelta a Espana.
The team was founded in 2010 and is based in Raubling, Germany. It is sponsored by Bora, a German manufacturer of kitchen appliances, and Hansgrohe, a German manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen fixtures.

The team Bora – hansgrohe has a great mix of riders able to tackle the spring classics with Nils Politt, Jordi Meeus, and Sam Bennett.
Then there are strong contenders for the multiple-stage races’ podium like Jai Hindley who won the Giro d’Italia 2022 and Aleksandr Vlasov.

2023 Season Main Plans

For 2023, Hindley will race the Tour de France instead of defending his Maglia Rosa on the Giro.
It is Aleksandr Vlasov who will lead the Bora hansgrohe team on the Giro 2023.

The Bora – hansgrohe’s program for the 2023 season is partly decided.

Maximilian Schachmann, Marco Haller, Jordi Meeus, Shane Archbold, Luis-Joe Luhrs, Jai Hindley, and Giovanni Aleotti are racing the Santos Tour Down Under 2023.

ARCHBOLD Shane, KOCH Jonas, POLITT Nils, HALLER Marco, MULLEN Ryan, GAMPER Patrick, and MEEUS Jordi are riding the Paves of Paris – Roubaix 2023.

VLASOV Aleksandr, ALEOTTI Giovanni, BENEDETTI Cesare, DENZ Nico, JUNGELS Bob, KÄMNA Lennard, KONRAD Patrick, and PALZER Anton race the Giro d’Italia 2023.

Jai Hindley, Sam Bennett, Emanuel Buchmann, Jordi Meeus, and Bob Jungels are racing in the Tour de France 2023.

The selection for the Vuelta a Espana 2023 will be made in June or July depending on the riders’ performances.

Bora – hansgrohe team starts 2023 with a very similar bike setup as the season 2022.
The team keeps racing with the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 for road races, and the Shiv TT for the time-trial races.
For the Paris-Roubaix, Bora – hansgrohe races with the Specialized S-Works Roubaix. The bike name says it all.

The Specialized bikes are raced with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed groupset. The Roval wheels are rolling on the Specialized tires.

The riders’ three touch points are the Roval handlebar, the Specialized S-Works Power saddle, and the Shimano Dura-Ace pedals.

For the live data collection from the Core Body sensor and Shimano PowerMeter, Bora – hansgrohe team relies on the Wahoo cycling computer this year too.

All the riders wear the Specialized S-Works Prevail helmet for hot weather, and the S-Works Evade helmet is more specific for the sprinters.
The Bora – hansgrohe team wears Le Col cycling jersey and bib shorts. The shoes are the Specialized S-Works Ares and Exos.
