How the Team Lotto Soudal optimizes the power output of the team bikes

The team Lotto Soudal’s Ridley bikes are optimized with the fitting of ceramic bearings provided by C-Bear.

The frame are fitted with a PF30 (68mmx42mm) C-Bear Ceramic bearings Bottom Bracket.

The C-Bear Ceramic bearings are also used in the Campagnolo hubs, headset and the derailleur pulleys.

The pedals are also spinning on ceramic bearings as they are the Look Keo Blade Carbon ceramic.

At this point you understand that everything is spinning on ceramic bearings. This optimize the power output. As I always write in my blog posts, every seconds count in a race. Thomas De Gendt’s Ridley Helium SLX is set to optimize marginal gains as much as possible.
