Vincent Lavenu, The General Manager started the now called Ag2R Citroën Team 30 years ago. The team is based in France and being part of the UCI World Tour it is a regular participant of the Tour de France.
The 2022 AG2R Citroën team is composed of 29 riders from nine nationalities. Four new riders are joining the team among them two are Neo Pros.
The AG2R Citroën Team UCI Abbreviation is ACT.

AG2R Citroën Team 2022 and Their Bikes
Ben O’Connor finishing 4th at 2021 Tour de France GC is definitively giving the AG2R Citroën Team some motivation for the 2022 Tour de France. The strategy is clearly to get on the podium of the Tour.
The team is well balanced with nearly 50% of the riders being climbers and the other being sprinters. Each group is able to give support to its team leader.
Ben O’Connor, Aurélien Paret-Peintre, Clément Champoussin are obvious names to watch. I think Dorian Godon is riding under the radar and will be interesting to watch.
There are many experienced riders in this team and their names will be among top ten in many classics and one day races.
VAN AVERMAET Greg, DEWULF Stan, NAESEN Oliver, RAUGEL Antoine, SCHÄR Michael, TOUZÉ Damien, VAN HOECKE Gijs are the selected riders for Paris-Roubaix 2022.
VENDRAME Andrea, NAESEN Lawrence, CALMEJANE Lilian, CHEREL Mikaël, GALL Felix, HÄNNINEN Jaakko, PETERS Nans, and PRODHOMME Nicolas are aiming at winning any stages on the Giro d’Italia 2022. Particularly if a breakaway opportunity presents itself.
O’CONNOR Ben, BOUCHARD Geoffrey, CHEREL Mikaël, COSNEFROY Benoît, DEWULF Stan, NAESEN Oliver, PARET-PEINTRE Aurélien, and JUNGELS Bob are racing the Tour de France 2022.
CHAMPOUSSIN Clément, GODON Dorian, HÄNNINEN Jaakko, JUNGELS Bob, O’CONNOR Ben, PETERS Nans, PRODHOMME Nicolas, and VENDRAME Andrea are racing La Vuelta a Espana 2022.
The Bikes
AG2R Citroën Team 2022 is racing on BMC bikes. All riders have access to three models: BMC SLR01, BMC TimeMachine Road and Timemachine Time Trial bike. All bikes are equipped with Campagnolo Super Record EPS 12 speed groupset. Nowadays all the bikes are Disc brakes only types. The wheels are the Campagnolo Bora WTO and Bora Ultra disc fitted with Pirelli P zero TLR Tubular tires. Saddles and bar tapes are from Fizik. Look supplies the pedals and Wahoo the GPS head units.
