The team had a tremendous 20221 season finishing 4th highest team in UCI point ranking.
One sure thing the team Bahrain – Victorious has animated all the races they participated in 2021.
It can be expected to see the Bahrain – Victorious jerseys in front of many classics and Grand Tours in 2022.

The Protagonists
This is a quick recap to some of Barhain – Victorious 2021 performances:
Wout Poels finished the Tour de France 2nd in the “Maillot a pois” classification.
Matej Mohorič has won two stages on the tour de France. He finished 2nd of the General Classification on the Donostia San Sebastian Klasikoa, Tour de Pologne and Benelux tour.
Jack Haig finished 3rd in the GC of La Vuelta a España and 5th of the Critérium du Dauphiné.
Pello Bilbao finished the Tour de France in 9th position of the GC.
Dylan Teuns won stage 8 on the Tour de France.
Damiano Caruzo won a stage on the Giro d’Italia in front on Egan Bernal. Finishing 2nd of the Giro D’Italia GC and 3rd of the Mountain classification. He also won a stage on the Vuelta a España in front of Primož Roglič.
Gino Mäder Won stages on the Tour de Suisse and Vuelta a España. He finished 5th in the Vuelta’s GC and won the Youth Classification.
This list wouldn’t be complete without mention of Sonny Colbrelli. He won the Sprint Jersey Classification on the Tour de Romandie, Critérium du Dauphiné, 2nd of the Tour de Benelux, 3rd of the Tour de France.He is Italy national champion and Europa Road Race champion.Not forgetting he won the Paris Roubaix.
As I wrote earlier, this is a team to be taken seriously.
For the season 2022 there are seven incoming transfers.
Luis León Sánchez replaces Marc Padun who left for EF Education-EasyPost team.
Bahrain – Victorious ambitions on the Grand Tours is clear, winning it.
MOHORIČ Matej, ARASHIRO Yukiya, FENG Chun Kai, PRICE-PEJTERSEN Johan, SÜTTERLIN Jasha, TEUNS Dylan, WRIGHT Fred are the riders participating to the Paris-Roubaix 2022.
BILBAO Pello, BAUHAUS Phil, BUITRAGO Santiago, LANDA Mikel, NOVAK Domen, POELS Wout, SÜTTERLIN Jasha, and TRATNIK Jan are racing the Giro d’Italia 2022 with the prime goal to win it.
CARUSO Damiano, GRADEK Kamil, HAIG Jack, MOHORIČ Matej, SÁNCHEZ Luis León, TEUNS Dylan, TRATNIK Jan, and WRIGHT Fred are competing the Tour de France 2022.
WRIGHT Fred, ZAMBANINI Edoardo, BUITRAGO Santiago, LANDA Mikel, MÄDER Gino, POELS Wout, SÁNCHEZ Luis León, and SÜTTERLIN Jasha are racing La Vuelta a Espana 2022.
Bahrain – Victorious Bikes
The team Bahrain – Victorious is racing on Merida bikes.
Each rider has access to the three models. The Merida Reacto, the Scultura and the Time Warp for the Time Trial stages.
All the bikes are built with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 12 speed group set, disc brakes type.
The wheels and components such as the handlebar/Stems, seat post are from vision. Some of the climbers are using FSA stem and bars.
The team relies on Continental tires for the rubbers. Saddles and bar tape are from Prologo brand.
