In terms of performance in 2021, the team had a lower than expected successes. In fact the team has zero victories on the three Grand Tours in 2021.
With four incoming transfers for 2022 including Quentin Pacher and the promising Michael Storer who won two stages on the Vuelta a Espana 2021.

Groupama – FDJ Team 2022
There is no shortage of talented riders among the team which is looking forward to get back to winning strikes like in 2020.
The team is designed with two main ambitions that are to win sprint stages and get onto the General Classification podiums.
KÜNG Stefan, ASKEY Lewis, DAVY Clément, LE GAC Olivier, LIENHARD Fabian, MADOUAS Valentin, WELTEN Bram are racing the Paris-Roubaix 2022.
DÉMARE Arnaud, DAVY Clément, GUARNIERI Jacopo, KONOVALOVAS Ignatas, LUDVIGSSON Tobias, SINKELDAM Ramon, SCOTSON Miles, and VALTER Attila are racing to win sprint stages on the Giro d’Italia 2022.
GAUDU David, DUCHESNE Antoine, GENIETS Kevin, KÜNG Stefan, LE GAC Olivier, MADOUAS Valentin, PINOT Thibaut, and STORER Michael are racing the Tour de France 2022.
STEWART Jake, SCOTSON Miles, REICHENBACH Sébastien, PINOT Thibaut, PACHER Quentin, LIENHARD Fabian, ARMIRAIL Bruno, and MOLARD Rudy are racing La Vuelta a Espana 2022.
For the General Classification target on the Grand Tours, the Groupama – FDJ team has a some serious contenders as David Gaudu, Thibaut Pinot and Michael Storer are excellent climbers.
Lapierre Bikes
Groupama – FDJ Team 2022 races on Lapierre bikes.
The team has access to three models; The Aircode DRS for flat and sprint races, Xelius SL3 for mountain stages and the Aerostorm DRS for Time Trial.
The Lapierre bikes are built with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 12 speed groupset. Wheels are Shimano and rubbers are provided by Continental. Racing with Tubuless and Tubulars depending of races profiles and riders preferences.
Riders touch points are Prologo saddles, PRO handlebars, stems and bar tapes. The pedals are the Shimano Dura Ace.
Garmin supplies the GPS head units.
Riders wear Ale jerseys kits and Giro helmets.
