During the 2022-2023 inter-season seven riders left for other teams, or retired and were replaced by seven new riders to fill the gap.
Among the seven who left the team Astana Qazaqstan, the most notorious rider is Vicenzo Nibali who has retired from professional road racing.
Miguel Ángel López joined the Colombian Team Medellin.
Stefan de Bod transferred to the EF Education-Easypost team.
While the Astana Qazaqstan team lost some great riders, the 2023 inbound riders are also big headliners.
The biggest name to join the Astana Qazaqstan team in 2023 are Mark Cavendish (ex-Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team), Luis León Sánchez (ex-Bahrain – Victorious), Cees Bol (ex-Team DSM), and Martin Laas (ex-BORA – hansgrohe).

Astana Qazaqstar Pro Cycling team being a WorldTour team competes in the UCI World Tour 2023 calendar including the spring classics and the three Grands Tours.
FEDOROV Yevgeniy, MOSCON Gianni, SYRITSA Gleb, CHZHAN Igor, LAAS Martin, BOL Cees, and GRUZDEV Dmitriy are affronting the paves of Paris-Roubaix 2023.
CAVENDISH Mark, BATTISTELLA Samuele, DOMBROWSKI Joe, MOSCON Gianni, PRONSKIY Vadim, SÁNCHEZ Luis León, SCARONI Christian, and VELASCO Simone are racing the Giro d’Italia 2023.
Samuele Battistella, Dmitriy Gruzdev, Alexey Lutsenko, Mark Cavendish, Cees Bol, David de la Cruz, and Yevgeniy Fedorov aim at some stage wins and a top-10 finish on the GC of the Tour de France 2023.

Wilier Road Bikes
For the 2023 season, the team Astana Qazaqstan races on Wilier Triestina road bikes.
Astana Qazaqstan team rides the Wilier Filante SLR, Zero SLR road bikes, and Turbine SLR for the Time Trial races.
The Wilier bikes feature Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speeds 9200 groupsets tuned with SLF Motion ceramic bearings and rear derailleur oversized pulley wheels.
The Corima carbon wheels are rolling on Vittoria tubular and tubeless tires.
