For 2022 the team has recruited 10 new riders. Among them some are Neo Pro and some are super experienced such as the Norwegian star; Alexander Kristoff.

Team Strategy
Intermarché – Wanty – Gobert Matériaux team is focussing on classic and stage wins. 70% of the 31 riders are Sprinters / TT type and the rest are climbers.
As the team is among the UCI World Tour Teams for its 2nd year it is racing the whole UCI World Tour calendar including Paris-Roubaix and the three Grand Tours.
KRISTOFF Alexander, DEVRIENDT Tom, PASQUALON Andrea, PETIT Adrien, PLANCKAERT Baptiste, VAN DER HOORN Taco, VAN MELSEN Kévin are racing the Paris-Roubaix 2022.
GIRMAY Biniam, DE GENDT Aimé, HIRT Jan, PEÁK Barnabás, VLIEGEN Loïc, POZZOVIVO Domenico, ROTA Lorenzo, TAARAMÄE Rein are racing the Giro d’Italia.
KRISTOFF Alexander, GOOSSENS Kobe, BYSTRØM Sven Erik, MEINTJES Louis, PASQUALON Andrea, PETIT Adrien, VAN DER HOORN Taco, and ZIMMERMANN Georg are racing the Tour de France 2022.
VAN POPPEL Boy, TAARAMÄE Rein, HIRT Jan, BAKELANTS Jan, THIJSSEN Gerben, MEINTJES Louis, POZZOVIVO Domenico, and JOHANSEN Julius are racing La Vuelta a Espana 2022.
Cube Bikes
Intermarché – Wanty – Gobert Matériaux 2022 Team races on Cube bikes. The German bike manufacturer has been the team bike supplier since 2014.
The whole team races on the Cube Litening C:68X and Aerium C:68 Time Trial bikes. The gears are the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 9200 12 speed. All the bearing including the rear derailleur jokey wheels are provided by CeramicSpeed. Note the front disc rotors are 140mm.
The Newmen wheels adds the exotic touch to the bike set up. The team uses Tubulars and tubeless types depending of the race profile and rider’s preferences.
The tires are the Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR and Competition Pro LTD.
Riders touch point is made of Prologo saddles and bar tapes. The seat post, handlebar and stem are Cube’s integral part of the frame design. The pedals are the Look Keo Carbon Blade Ti.
Bryton provides the “Rider 500” GPS head units. Bottle cage and bottle are supplied by Elite.
