What are the Team Bikes on the Tour de France 2021?

This post is dedicated to what are the team bikes on the Tour de Tour de France 2021 including Riders Start list. By clicking on each name you can see the rider’s bike size and specification.

I am trying to complete the information on this page on an ongoing basis. Save this post and keep coming back to this page you will eventually find the complete Tour de France peloton’s bikes size and specification day by day.

Who is riding what? Will the Tour de France 2021 be won by Disc brakes bikes for the first time in its history?

So, What are the Team Bikes on the Tour de France 2021?

There is only one team racing with rim brakes the entire three weeks of the Tour de France 2021. It is the Team Ineos – Grenadier.

One more team might be seen racing mountain stages on rim brakes, it is the team UAE – Team emirates.

Chris Froome has access to rim brakes despite his team racing officially on Disc brakes but I would be very surprised to see him pulling it on one of the mountain stage. Check link in the team review below.

Another trend starting is the move back to clincher tires away from Tubeless by few teams.

The 2021 Tour de France peloton consist 23 teams of eight riders. This represents 184 unique riders with their unique skills and talents. It is also 184 bikes set up reflecting their owner, a climber, a sprinter, a Gregorio or an all rounder.

Keep in mind the Tour de France is traditionally the time when manufacturers introduce new models. This explains why some bikes may not up to date.
